The Reid — Wheat Nubuck
Some boots try to look new forever. The Reid isn't one of them.
Cut from wheat nubuck — a leather with a soft, matte grain that picks up every mark, every scuff, every story you put it through. Six months from now, your pair won't look like anyone else's. That's not a flaw in the leather. That's the whole point of it.
Underneath, it's the same construction as every boot in the range: Goodyear-welted, 200+ hand operations, built to be resoled — not replaced. The nubuck breaks in fast, moulds to your foot within the first few weeks, and keeps getting better from there.
Your pair arrives with its own service number stamped into the leather and registered to you. When it comes back for a resole, we'll know it by name.

Fit
Runs true to size. Nubuck breaks in quickly — expect the upper to soften and mould within the first two weeks of wear. If you're between sizes, go down.
Care
Brush after each wear with a soft brush. Apply a nubuck protector spray before first wear. Avoid heavy water exposure — if they get wet, stuff with newspaper and air dry. Never use heat. The leather will develop a patina over time. That's not damage, it's the point.
