Black full-grain leather — uncoated, uncorrected, with a depth that builds over time. The Thompson in black is sharp enough to walk into a meeting and tough enough to walk out of one and straight onto a building site. For the days where you don't know what's coming and you don't particularly care.

200+ hand operations. Uncoated leather that develops its own finish over time. A cork-filled insole that remembers the shape of your foot. Built to be resoled — not thrown out at the first sign of wear.

Your pair arrives with its own service number stamped into the leather and registered to you. When it comes back for a resole, we'll know it by name.

Fit

Runs true to size. The leather will feel firm at first — expect 30–40 hours of break-in. If you're between sizes, go down. The cork insole moulds to your foot over the first month.

Care

Brush after each wear. Condition every 4–6 weeks with a neutral leather balm. Avoid heat sources when drying — let them air. Use shoe trees between wears to hold the shape. The black leather develops a deep, layered tone with age. That's not damage, it's the point.
